Our physical (& mental/emotional) symptoms can often be a manifestation of deficiencies in certain nutrients so it is sometimes necessary to take carefully selected supplements to help speed your recovery or to boost your energy. My focus is always centred around the gut microbiome. Scientists now believe that around 50% of our cells (or more) are microbial cells, mostly bacteria. There are trillions of these in our bodies and these play a vital role in our immune function. Ensuring this is in good health forms an essential part of my treatment so that we put the right building blocks in place so that the body can heal itself.
